Website Meant to be Seen has released a video interview where Crytek's Sean Tracy tells about native stereoscopic 3D technology for CryEngine 2/3. At Game Developers Conference 2009 Crytek demonstrated their stereoscopic 3D implementation with a special CryEngine 2 demo and S-3D monitor/glasses from iZ3D. Stereoscopic 3D for games is a technology that emulates human vision and its purpose is to enhance the experience by making games feel more life-like.
