Re: How to beef up your screenshots to SUPER quality.

"Puzzle" problem here too... hmm
What kind of res do you guys (who got the screenshots ok) use in-game?
Maybe it has to do something with the resolution change.

Re: How to beef up your screenshots to SUPER quality.

Damn..it doesn't work with whatever resolutions. tongue

I tried 80000x60000 and it crashed the game. xD

Man I would've loved an overview of the island with a resolution in the millions. big_smile

I also got puzzle-ish shots with my GF6600. I have the latest beta drivers. What cards & drivers are the ones who got it working using?

Re: How to beef up your screenshots to SUPER quality.

I fixed the puzzle problem by doing this: set all the other options but before you take a screenshot do this:

e_screenshot 2
e_screenshot 3

After this you can do e_screenshot 1 and it will be working, I haven't tested but you may only need to do e_screenshot 3.

Those two commands are for panoramic (2) and some kind of map view (3, returns blank though), doing these commands seems to reset allow the positions and allow you to take normal screenshots.

I've yet to be able to get the panoramic shots to work yet however, they come out all distorted i'm assuming we need to adjust the fov first.

Re: How to beef up your screenshots to SUPER quality.

I created the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\ScreenShots\HiRes

Then in this folder I created an autoexec.cfg:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Config

This is what my autoexec.cfg looks like:
e_screenshot_height 2400 (what i use)
e_screenshot_width 3840 (what i use)
e_screenshot_file_format jpg

Then whenever I want to take a screenshot I simply type e_screenshot 1 in the console.

Here is another screenshot I took using those methods:

Those first photos were defiantly edited. Save them and open in notepad and look at the first line, it will say photoshop cs2 in there.

License to kill turtles by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill turtles at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a turtle. And a turtle will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Turtle Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower.

100% unedited. I only used photoshop to "reduce" the image quality because the file size was too big I said that before. These images look worst than the unedited version. If you want me to upload the 8MB versions let me know because I can.

Re: How to beef up your screenshots to SUPER quality.

Is there a button to press to take a screenshot? I've been using PrtScr then pasting into MSPaint afterwards when quitting!

Re: How to beef up your screenshots to SUPER quality.

For regular screenshots, open the console and type screenshot "name" replace "name" with the name you want the screenshot to be.
