If you have ever wanted to ask a question from acclaimed science-fiction author and Crysis 2 lead writer Richard K. Morgan, now is your chance to do so!
inCrysis, Crytek and Electronic Arts have teamed up for a Crysis 2 community interview event where you, dear Crysis fans, are welcomed to ask Richard about Crysis 2 and anything else that you've always wanted to ask him.
Please note that Richard is the story writer for Crysis 2 so, he might not be able to answer all of your questions, especially the ones of technical nature and the like.
We will be taking in your questions for one week starting now and ending Monday 17th, 11AM CET (thread will be closed then).
The full Q&A with answers from Richard will be posted at a later date.

I guess that would explain the sudden appearance of the Community leaders here on IC.
I too need some time to think about this.
EDIT:
And here i go:
- As a writer, what is your opinion on the plot of Crysis(1)? (I don't expect you to praise the storyline.)
- How did New York influence the story you wrote for Crysis 2? Did you suggest the urban setting to the developers or was it rather an "Okay, it's gonna' be New York, the rest is up to you." situation?

I'm just gonna say...
- How did you end up getting the storywriter position for Crysis 2?
- Do you enjoy working with Crytek in the production of Crysis 2?

Hello Mr. Morgan,
1. As the writer of Crysis 2, how do you plan on making the story of Crysis 2 revolve and also evolve around the gameplay created by other Crytek developers?
2. In Crysis 2, while playing, will players be able to create an emotional bond/attachment to other characters in the game?
Thank you very much,
John Niccoli

Please don't state things as facts that are not verified. Also, let's concentrate on asking questions rather than answering them, I hope Crytek know which ones to select. I hate when Q&A's include questions the developers don't want to answer and have them saying: "I'm afraid I can't answer that right now."
To Mr. Morgan:
Crysis was intended as a trilogy right from the start which means there probably was a more or less completely written story arc. Did you rework some of the old ideas or did you build a new story from the ground up?

Having written the thing, do you think that the storyline has movie potential and if so, why?
What games do you play?

@Richard:
-You have publicly criticized various games' storylines; do you feel that this places additional pressure on your work in Crysis 2?
-Do you feel that your writing work for Crysis 2 is realized the way you imagined within the game itself?
-Do you find that you are given adequate creative freedom to craft the story for Crysis 2 in your own way?
-Do you try to avoid cliches in your work for Crysis 2 (such as: "only one man can save the world")?

You came in long after Crysis 2 started production. What was Crytek's modus operandi for story development before you came on board?
Offline
What techniques are you using to take advantage of the video game as a story telling platform? An overused example would be audio diaries to provide a background to the plot indirectly.
Online
Do you find it difficult to write a plot line around something that is largely open ended in what specifically happens?
