i have a bad feeling about this advertising. crytek have been so locked up, no leaks whatsoever! some things may turn out dissapointing.

It's completely normal to keep quiet. It doesn't relate to the quality of Crysis 2.
(It can still be bad though)

I'm 100% sure that almost everyone will find something dissapointing in the magazine previews. It's unavoidable when people have expectations. I try to keep an open mind, but I'll still probably be dissapointed by at least something, be it small or big. Hopefully not something awful, like an IW screw-up, though.

urgh *shudders*
I do think this game is going to be amazing, but ive got this feeling that the consoles are gonna influence something that affects the PC version. Its like an itch, I can just feel it

"Crysis is going to consoles, so the design must be gimped" topic, Camarillo explains that that's "not necessarily" the case. "In some ways it has allowed us to avoid overdesigning features to keep the focus narrower and tight for a compelling experience on all platforms."
"The PC version will outscale and outperform the consoles. Between each console I believe the experience will finally be next-generation, but similar.”
Makes you think, doesn't it?
What does CryTek mean under graphics? Poly count? Incredible lightning? Physics?
Do large open areas contribute to this? Even a linear game can be incredibly beautiful. We heard countless times that we don't need to worry about graphics...but still. There will be some compromise. I just hope we will get the old Crysis feeling.
