inCrysis and NVIDIA are pleased to give you the opportunity to chat with Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek and Roy Taylor, Vice President of Content Relations at NVIDIA. Cevat and Roy will be taking questions for a whole hour on the 15th of November (just hours before the official release of Crysis) starting at 4pm PST (12am 16th November GMT)
The Q&A chat will be held on IRC again. You'll either need an IRC client (mIRC is good) or use our web-browser version. For those using a client, connect to "irc.gamesurge.net" and join #inCrysis, or just click here to join the channel.
So start thinking up some good questions - related to both Crysis and GPU/hardware. We look forward to seeing you there!

This is just magnificent. The earlier demo launch IRC party was great fun so I can't wait to get this one started!

Lol...I will be too busy playing Crysis to come. They are going to be totally bombarded with people bithing about the performance though....Would love to see what they have to say about that.
Offline
I should be able to come shortly after the chat starts.

Man, I better come up with a good question that gets chosen, hopefully to compete against the half the people angry that they blocked some Very High settings and yet also angry that they can't run them without bad performance, and none of them noticing the irony.

No they won't (but unfortunately Matthew probably will). The channel will be again muted and the questions will be chosen.

Sup mat, i have a very good question hat is boggling peoples minds and getting ALL KINDS of modders to spend HOURS to try and fix.
I'm reffereing of course to the notirious "Jungle Fight" Video. Clarifying on this for the crysis audience will clear mind and give peace to ours. And maybe even cull the effert of those trying to customize Crysis to dupliacte that so sought after "look" & "feel" / "amience" of that video. I've spent countless hours customizing cvars, even released my own performance pack with the very high DX10 effects for the beta and SP demo. In an effort to satify those until the REAL shaders come out, just like all the modders out there at Crymod.com
So, question like this i hope you choose it for everyone and the modders sake.
Direct toward Cevat Yerli:
Reffereing to the DX10vs DX9 "Jugnle Fight" Video, under what hardware conditions was it run, is that scene rendering a whole level in teh background ot just what we see on screen? How come no one can see SubSurfaceScattering in the demo, but we can see SSS clearly in the video?
Are the shaders from that video the unique and sought after "Ultra"level shaders you spoke about in the gametrailers interview as "Going to being release later", due to customers hardware not being able to handle it? If so, will the shaders be released, have they been changed to look different? And how soon can we expect them?
I hope you can on behalf of the INcrysis community allow this question to be asked. Let me know if you find it suitable and if you can allow it. Please make sure its answered early, so we can calm eveyone down fro the rest of the interview, jeje Thank you for your time sirs

Please, everyone, submit your questions during the IRC party next week, not here, thanks ![]()

Well, now i have even more questions i hope you may be able to answer. ![]()
HOW do i submit it?
HOW do they select the questions then? (by well thought out-ness[sp]?, or by random out of the hat?)
WHAT are the chances of the question i submit from and for the people(not myself) gets picked to be in the interview?
Can it be a guaranteed solid interview question if i get enough supporters behind it?
Thank You again for these clarification, Sirs.

In the chat room, everyone will be muted except for our distinguished guests and incrysis staff. The only way people can submit questions in the LIVE Q&A is to "private message" one of the op's in the room. More than likely matthew will get bombarded with requests, including myself.

If there are more than a few questions on performance I will go insane.

Not only you nutcrackr,, Roy Taylor would be. =p

Oh ok, well what if i get enough support form the community and the question is well thought out and distinguished? Will you guys make it a definite interview question? If not, then i will be there and send my question above to one of you two.
But I'm sure everyone is burning to find out if my question will be asked, and then answered completely. I think it's a good one to make Crytek think, and since that issue has been the root of a lot of dedicated modders efforts, jeje. And what do you think of my question, personally? Does it qualify under the rules to be an "allowable" question? What changes do i need to make for it to qualify to be picked?
